Kids Hope was founded by Gary Sprague in 1990. Gary has a heart for helping kids and parents in single-parent or blended families. Kids Hope has materials and seminars around the country to help.

About President and Founder Gary Sprague:

  • Became a child of divorce at the age of 5.


  • Became a child of God at the age of 17.


  • Received a Master's Degree in Social Work from Loyola University in Chicago
    in 1986.


  • Has worked extensively with children and families with special needs; grief
    recovery, residential treatment, foster care, adoption, family counseling.


  • Author of 3 books:
         My Parents Got A Divorce
         KIDS HOPE: Workbook for Children
         KIDS HOPE: Workbook for Teens


  • Missionary with the Navigators, 1993-1999


  • Experienced the tragic death of his mother in 1994


  • Life verse - Isaiah 1:17
